Cantante Tom Parker revela que tiene un tumor cerebral

El exvocalista del grupo The Wanted dijo que el cáncer que padece no se puede operar, pero que ya está en tratamiento

En coincidencia con la portada de la revista OK!, en la cual sale con su familia; el cantante británico Tom Parker reveló que tiene un tumor cerebral. Lo más triste es que el mismo es inoperable.

«Necesito del amor y el positivismo de todos. Voy a luchar contra esto» se lee en la portada que él mismo ha compartido en su cuenta de Instagram. En una publicación previa, el intérprete asegura que ya está en tratamiento.

La noticia ha significado una sorpresa para sus seguidores, quienes le expresaron su amor. Al mismo tiempo, se unieron en oración con la familia, ya que la esposa del músico está embarazada del segundo hijo de la pareja.

There’s no easy way to say this but I’ve sadly been diagnosed with a Brain Tumour and I’m already undergoing treatment. «Chicos, saben que ambos hemos estado callados en las redes sociales durante algunas semanas y es hora de decirles por qué. No hay una manera fácil de decir esto. Pero, lamentablemente me diagnosticaron un tumor cerebral y ya estoy en tratamiento», escribió en el mensaje.

Tom Parker señaló que juntos tomaron la decidió de dar a conocer el diagnóstico. «Decidimos, después de pensarlo mucho, que en lugar de escondernos y tratar de mantenerlo en secreto, haríamos una entrevista; en la que podríamos presentar todos los detalles. Y dejar que todos supieran los hechos a nuestra manera».

La tristeza se apoderó tanto de él como de su esposa Kelsey. «Todos estamos absolutamente devastados, pero vamos a luchar contra esto hasta el final. No queremos su tristeza; solo queremos amor y positividad. Juntos crearemos conciencia sobre esta terrible enfermedad y buscaremos todas las opciones de tratamiento disponibles. Va a ser una batalla dura, pero con el amor y el apoyo de todos vamos a vencerla», aseguró.
